Balthazar (Nativity)

Balthazar of the 3 wise men is part of Irish Dresden’s Nativity, made of very fine porcelain. Cotton net lace dipped in porcelain clay and fired at 1290 C decorates his caftan and jewelled hat. Traditionally Balthazar is referred to as the King of Arabia presenting the gift of Frankincense and Myrrh carried in a hand painted liquid bright gold vessel. Irish Dresden”s Nativity is a treasure to have and will be a heirloom for generations.
