Balthazar of the 3 wise men is part of Irish Dresden’s Nativity Set, made of very fine porcelain. Cotton net lace dipped in porcelain clay decorates the edge of his royal cloak and shoulders. Our trained artists apply special mixed porcelain paint to Balthazar’s cloak and head dress. 8 carat gold is painted on the cruet containing the gift. Traditionally Balthazar is referred to as the King of Arabia presenting a gift of frankincense to Jesus. A treasure for your porcelain collection! Artist: Sally
