Cornelia blue

Description

Our in house sculptor, Hans Schubert designed Cornelia in the late 1950s. Cornelia loves reading books. Take note of the floral design and the script on the page of her book. Admire her rococo dress and the tiny hand rolled porcelain roses decorating her dress. Cotton net lace dipped in porcelain clay is used to dress her, the material burns away during the firing process at 1290 celsius, leaving its delicate pattern in the porcelain. Artist: Hans Schubert
