Magic Flute pink

Description

The sculptor Hans Schubert loved Mozart and the Opera ‘The Magic Flute’ inspired him to model this beautiful piece. The lady playing the piano is dressed in Irish Dresden’s cotton net lace dipped in porcelain clay, the material burns out at a firing of 1,290 degrees celsius leaving its lace pattern in the porcelain. The gentlemen accompanying her playing the flute is also dressed with Irish Dresden’s cotton net lace. Handmade porcelain roses decorate her dress and fill the basket standing beside the piano.
Our team of artists paint with care the delicate skin tones, the sparkling eyes and beautiful lips adding colour to the roses, hair and shoes. The gentlemen’s coat is painted in a maroon colour and the edge of his coat is lined with handpainted roses. Irish Dresden uses 8 carat gold to decorate the base, piano and chair.
