Sweet Aya pink

Description

Sweet Aya was designed by Hans Schubert in the late 1950s. Admire her rococo dress and the tiny hand rolled porcelain roses decorating her dress. Cotton net lace dipped in porcelain clay is used to dress her, the material burns away during the firing process at 1290C, leaving its delicate pattern in the porcelain. Her eyes and mouth are carefully hand painted. 8 carat gold is used to decorate the base. Artist: Hans Schubert
